The AB program is aimed at establishing a network of shops across the lower 48 that are authorized to finish and sell Valiant kit trailers. Anyone may apply but only a few will be selected. See the map above for available territory regions. There is only 1 AB permitted per region.
AB's are the owner of their own business. They are responsible for establishing their location, their business entity, and ensuring legal requirements are met for operating a business in their state. AB's may not use the Valiant name when establishing their business, but will carry signage indicating them as a "Valiant Authorized Builder".
You may already be a business owner with a shop who is looking to do something different, or you may be a DIY-guy with ambitions of finishing trailers out of a home shop. Everyone is encouraged to apply.
As an AB, you are expected to uphold the same quality standards as factory built units for customers ordering standard packages. Customers ordering an Adventure Package XTD for example should see no difference between a factory built unit and an AB-produced unit. AB's do have the freedom to customize builds to meet client requests, they are not required to build only standard packaged models.
More details can be found in the AB agreement, which will be sent after receiving your inquiry.
All AB's receive wholesale pricing on kit trailers and accessories.
After passing the application and interview process, each applicant will be trained at the Idaho Falls shop before receiving their AB status.
All AB's are assigned to their respective territory in which they may build and sell Valiant kit trailers and accessories.
Only AB's have access to design drawings and other information required to build Valiant packages such as the Weekender, Adventure and Expedition
AB's and the Valiant Shop maintain constant contact in order to share information, innovations, improvements, feedback and advice.
Valiant will help direct customers to your shop, as well as promote your work on our social media platforms
AB's may apply for credit terms in order to help you keep your overhead down, allowing you to finish and sell the trailers without having to pay it all up front.
To start the process, please attach a standard resume as well as a cover letter explaining why you believe you're qualified to be one of our AB's.
